Life-changing wellness at Arohan Yoga!☮️ I stayed here a few weeks ago and it completely reset my health. The clean, hygienic kitchen and 100% sattvic diet acted like a natural detox. Even though I ate heartily, the balanced food kept my weight perfectly stable without any bloating!☺️☺️ The meals with nourishing dals, fresh veggies, chapatis, raita, and crisp salads offered high nutrition. My energy spiked in three days, and I never felt heavy during afternoon asana classes. Truly rare to find a retreat with such delicious, high-quality yogic food❤️!

My experience at Arohan Yoga was outstanding. The management is exceptionally organized, and the staff members are incredibly caring, respectful, and attentive. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. Everyone was always ready to assist with a smile, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere throughout my stay. The professionalism and hospitality of the entire team truly made this a memorable experience. One of the highlights of my stay at Arohan Yoga was the food. Every meal was fresh, hygienic, nutritious, and prepared with great care. The food is completely sattvic, which perfectly supports a healthy yogic lifestyle. We were served a wonderful variety of dishes, including dal, vegetables, rice, chapati, salads, and other wholesome meals. Everything was delicious, balanced, and made with quality ingredients. It was reassuring to know that such importance is given to both taste and health.

Practical & Personal Care for Ayurvedic Treatments

Draping:

Full Body Treatments (e.g., Abhyanga, Udvartana): Standard towel coverage is not used to allow the traditional sequence of massage strokes. The lower private area will be draped at all times, while the rest of the body remains uncovered. The upper body may be covered on demand by the client

Localised Treatments: Only the specified body areas will be uncovered; all other areas will be draped.

Managing Your Personal Items

Students are solely responsible for their belongings while on the premises.

Arohan Yoga, along with its partners, instructors, and staff, is not responsible for any loss or damage to your personal belongings.

For any lost possession, inform the management immediately.

Effective Communication and Conflict Resolution

We advise members to directly address any concerns or complaints with management in person.

In the event of disagreements, or difficulties with classmates, teachers, or other staff, or if you have personal problems or issues, we ask that you notify the Management as soon as possible. Your feedback is important to us, and by bringing such concerns to our attention, you enable us to take appropriate and prompt action.

We will award the certificate only if you meet the following requirements: maintain consistent attendance in classes, pass the written exam, and show acceptable practical performance.

Examination Structure:

At the end of the course, there will be three tests including theory, practical skills, and an oral assessment.

We will award certificates on the final day of the course.

Respectful Behavior

We sincerely ask that students respect their professors, other classmates, and the ideals of Indian culture.

Considering the diverse cultural backgrounds and sensitivities within our student and teacher community, we adopt a conservative approach. Engaging in public displays of affection, such as kissing and hugging opposite-sex members, is not allowed.

Respectful behavior is crucial at our School and during training sessions. Consequently, any disrespectful behavior towards the team, staff, or fellow students may result in expulsion from the program without a refund.

Please be aware that refunds will not be provided in case of expulsion resulting from disrespectful behavior or a violation of the regulations.

What to Keep in Mind During Your Stay

Dietary Restrictions for Sattwic Living:

Eating fish, meat, and eggs is not allowed.

We do not advise the intake of tea or coffee. Instead, we offer unlimited Ayurvedic tea.

Students are required to adhere to a vegetarian diet throughout the course to embrace the holistic and Sattwic lifestyle. They will be given guidance and motivation to help them embrace a vegetarian diet.

Also, we have noticed that students often get sick on Mondays, likely due to eating unhealthy food on their days off. Please avoid this for your well-being.

Daily Schedule and Attendance:

The School’s main door closes at 9:30 p.m., and no entry or exit will be allowed after that time except for medical emergencies.

All classes require a minimum attendance of 90%.

Attendance is compulsory unless a student is unable to attend due to illness.

Dining Etiquette and Meal Plans:

Please refrain from eating in rooms or the yoga hall to prevent attracting insects.

Utensils must be washed promptly, and spillages cleaned immediately.

No food is provided on off days, and students are encouraged to inform in advance if they will not be eating to avoid wastage.

Breakfast includes two fruits and options such as upma, poha, porridge, parathas, or gram flour pancakes. Lunch and dinner include one portion each of dal, seasonal vegetable curry, chapatis, rice, and yogurt/salad.

Students have the option to purchase additional items at their own cost, such as fruits, dry fruits, vegetables, honey, and peanut butter from nearby sellers.

Conserving Energy:

We promote responsible electricity use, turning off appliances when not in use.

Yoga Mats and Accessories:

Before meals, place mats and accessories properly in designated areas.

Please use yoga mats and accessories only in the two designated yoga halls and do not bring them into personal rooms.

Weekend Stay-out Policy:

Staying out on Saturday night would require passport re-entry.

Laundry and cleaning:

We perform laundry twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with a limit of 5 items. However, undergarments and socks are excluded from the laundry service. Please leave clothes in the laundry basket the night before or before 6 a.m. the next day.

To have room and bathroom cleaning, students need to request it one day in advance and are limited to once every seven days.

Please hang clothes only on the drying rack or in the bathroom.

Sanitation Practices:

Students should discard toilet paper in waste bins rather than flush it down the toilet bowl itself to avoid clogging.

Classroom Etiquette

To ensure a smooth learning experience, please inform teachers in advance of any class absences due to illness, injury, or personal matters. Additionally, we kindly request students to avoid cross-talking during sessions and to remain seated rather than lying down during theory sessions, creating a conducive learning environment.

We expect all students to respect teachers and fellow participants, along with following the rules.

Photo and Video Usage

Arohan Yoga School might take pictures and videos during training sessions to share on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, the official website, and related materials for promotion. Thank you for understanding and cooperating with us in capturing moments that showcase the essence of our classes.

Conclusion

Please carefully read and understand the terms and conditions mentioned above. We expect all students to accept and follow them.

We look forward to the journey we’ll take together with each student at Arohan Yoga School!
